FIRST EGT SYSTEM IN TAIWAN

USM of Singapore has recently arranged the first sale of a large EGT rig to a domestic Taiwanese contractor. South East Asia is no stranger to the EGT equipment, which has carried out major crossings in Hong Kong for Lucas of Australia. However, the sale of the 100 tonne rig to Taiwan is the first sale into the Taiwanese domestic market. The fact that the 100 tonne rig at a derated 80 tonnes can operate in the cramped Taiwanese urban road conditions is a testament to the compact power that the EGT rigs deliver.
