M I Pipes 4.00 M ID slip line pipe
At a recent water exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, MI Pipes (M) Sdn Bhd, who are represented in Europe, Africa and the Middle East by Charador, put on display their new large diameter re-lining pipe. The re-lining pipe was designed to slip-line a 4,00 m ID pipe that operates at pressures of up to 16 bar. The enormous pipe, which caused quite a stir at the exhibition, is thought to be largest slip-line pipe that has been made to date.

MI Pipes are expecting an enormous interest for this re-lining pipe from pipe owners who are struggling to find solutions for large diameter pipes that have reached the end of their design lives or which have suffered from corrosion problems.

The slip-liner offers corrosion resistance as a result of its polymer based composition, rigidity due to its use of polymer concrete, strength from its used of reinforcing composites and light weight due to its thin section and light materials.

The slip-line pipe can be more easily installed than the alternatives that have generally been used or contemplated in the past.
