Ecoroll system now in Africa

EG Technology, manufacturer of the Ecoroll waste compaction system, has discovered that a system is likely to soon start the first work carried out in Africa. The system, which is owned by a Spanish waste handling contractor, is to be shipped to North Africa where it will be used to store waste safely whilst an incineration plant is refurbished.
Another waste contractor from Ecuador has recently visited Italy to inspect the Ecoroll system working. Their requirement has been to handle waste in an environmentally sensitive area where leaked pollution is not permitted. Until they can prepare a suitably engineered waste tip in a region with space limitations, they plan to compact and wrap their waste.
EGT Ecoroll systems have now compacted and wrapped over 1 million bales, equivalent to almost 1 million tonnes of waste.
